Process

FLAIR approaches all projects using our systematic approach. Our design system incorporates client feedback at every stage. Your timely feedback is extremely important in moving projects forward. Our system ensures that the design and development of your project is as effortless as possible.

1. Analysis & Assessment

We analyze your business and business objectives before starting any project. This is the most important part of our process. Through questions, dialog and research we work with you to assess the business objectives and competitive edge needed. We look at each project from different perspectives,

Vision – determining and strategizing your business objectives

Voice – Creating and broadcasting a consistent message

Style – Designing powerful graphical communications.

2. Design

We design a custom solution that accomplishes your goals. The feedback you provide ensures that we are on the right track before we begin developing a project. We’ll take the design back to the drawing board until you’re happy. The style we create for STION will reflect your business culture and stand out from your competition.

For the logo we start with black and white concepts to measure the positive/negative spacing and shape. Then we create color palettes and apply these combinations to the logo.

For collateral we can use a combination of elements such as stock photography or original professional photography.

For websites, we design sites that are intuitive and drive your audience to the information for which they need.

3. Development

We only begin development after designs are approved. Whether developing a website or marketing strategy, we pay attention to detail and organization to ensure a smooth process.

For web development we take into account the latest web and css standards and will build the site to the needs of your business and your audience.

For print projects we can provide print brokering by finding the right printer for your budget and needs.

4. Implementation

After the development is complete, we implement the project. In web design projects, this includes uploading to a server. In print projects, this means preparing and getting the files to the printer. We use web technology that is standardized and works with the majority of browsers and platforms.

5. Evaluation

We review if everything is working according to plan and achieved its objectives. If not, we can make changes to fine tune.

For websites, this includes reviewing on all browsers and platforms to ensure consistency in rendering.

For print projects, this includes going to the printer for press checks to ensure that color is consistent.

6. Maintenance

The project doesn’t end here. After the evaluation is complete maintenance begins. Your brand needs to be promoted and updated at regular intervals to keep everything fresh and up to date.

For the company this includes regular promotions such as ads or email newsletters.

For websites, this includes periodically updating content and graphics.

For print collateral, this includes creating new documents when old docs become obsolete..
